Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- ITDC President Director, Ari Respati, revealed that in organizing the 2023 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) set 3 parameters for success. Namely related to Country Branding through awareness of the world community, then increasing community participation with a national economic impact reaching IDR 4.5 trillion and an increase of 15-20% in viewers from last year’s 100 thousand viewers.

Specifically for NTB, ITDC is targeting an economic turnover of hundreds of billions during the 3 days of the Mandalika MotoGP. Apart from that, the Acting Governor of NTB, Lalu Gita Ariadi, is also optimistic that MotoGP will drive increased tourism, starting from hotel & restaurant taxes to promoting NTB tourism internationally.
