Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- The Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers & Tenants Association (HIPPINDO) is still optimistic about the recovery of purchasing power, amidst the Indonesian economic slowdown in Q3-2024.
It is hoped that government regulations will apply to the supply of offline retail goods. Currently the supply and performance of the F&B sector is still very good, but the fashion and accessories segment is still facing obstacles.
Currently, the purchasing power of middle class consumers is still very good, but for the lower middle class it is quite difficult so they need stimulus to maintain purchasing power.
