Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Chairman of the CISSREC Cyber ​​Security Research Institute, Pratama Persada, revealed the weak security of Indonesian data in state institutions in line with repeated cases of personal data leaks. Recently a hacker sold 204 Permanent Voter Data (DPT) from the KPU website.

Pratama also said that efforts to strengthen the data security system had not been taken seriously even though cases of data leaks had often occurred.

To overcome this, Deputy Chairman of Commission I DPR RI, Abdul Kharis, said it was important to encourage strengthening derivative regulations of the Personal Data Protection Law and the establishment of a Personal Data Protection Organizing Institution.
