Anies wants RI to progress, not with fast trains & toll roads, then? Tech – 2 hours ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The national winning team for presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or the AMIN National Team, expressed their commitment to realizing Indonesia as a developed country by 2045.

Even so, they will not achieve this by simply making Indonesia into the category of a high-income country with a per capita income of US$ 30 thousand, but rather by creating equal prosperity in every region of Indonesia.

“So when we talk about AMIN’s dream of a Golden Indonesia 2045, it is not about GDP per capita of US$ 30 thousand, but an Indonesia that is prosperous,” said Secretary of the AMIN National Team Expert Council, Wijayanto Samirin at the Indonesia Digital Summit in Jakarta, Tuesday (28/11 /2023).

Wijayanto emphasized this commitment because so far Indonesia’s development direction in achieving a Golden Indonesia 2045 is still full of paradoxes. On the one hand, high-speed trains and toll roads have been built in various areas, but on the other hand, there are still many roads in the area that have potholes and are full of standing water.

“So a country full of paradoxes, there are fast trains, there are great toll roads, but there are roads in the villages that are full of holes, and muddy when it rains. It’s a maritime country, an agricultural country, but the majority of farmers and fishermen are poor,” he stressed. .

Therefore, in the direction of developing a Golden Indonesia 2045 during AMIN’s administration if he wins the 2045 presidential election, Wijayanto said that the emphasis will be on equal distribution of infrastructure, which means that regions from end to end will be similar.

“The image is of Indonesia, when we land at the tip of Papua, in Kalimantan, Flores, Aceh, Java, Natuna, we feel that this is Indonesia, because there are similarities in infrastructure, economic conditions, public health, level of education,” said Wijayanto.

“It’s the same as when you go to Australia, you land in any city and you feel like this is Australia, in Japan that’s the case, in America that’s the case, even in Malaysia and Thailand there are similarities,” he said.

According to Wijayanto, this is what causes AMIN to have the vision and mission of a Fair-Prosperous Indonesia for All with four clusters, namely human affairs, living space, interaction or economy, and institutions. Apart from that, the digital economy is a way of thinking about development.

“So AMIN said that Golden Indonesia is an Indonesia with one prosperity, this has had a long history since 1928, since previous generations said, one nation, one Republic of Indonesia, one homeland,” said Wijayanto.
