Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) implemented traffic engineering at three points during the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup match at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) today, Saturday (11/11/2023).
The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) said that the traffic engineering will take effect from 11-24 November 2023 from 12.00 to 00.00 WIB.
“Limited closures will be carried out from 12.00-24.00 WIB at three locations,” said Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, in a press statement, Saturday (11/11/2023).
The following three points are subject to limited closure:
– Intersection of the railway crossing at Jalan Sunter Permai Raya-Jalan RE Martadinata
– Intersection of Jalan Sunter Permai Raya-Jalan Bisma Raya
– Intersection of Jalan Danau Sunter Barat-Jalan Danau Sunter Utara
Meanwhile, during traffic engineering, only a few types of vehicles are allowed to pass through the three locations, namely player transportation, committee transportation, public transportation, residents, as well as VIP and VVIP guests.
Meanwhile, spectators who bring private vehicles can park their vehicles at two locations. Later, this location will provide a shuttle bus that will take the spectators to the match location.
For the record, the shuttle bus operates from 12.00 to 23.00 WIB. Dishub advises spectators who bring vehicles to park at C3 Kemayoran and JIExpo
“For spectators of the FIFA U-17 Football World Cup, they should park their vehicles in two parking facilities, namely at C3 Kemayoran and at JIExpo,” said Syafrin.
Apart from shuttle buses, the DKI Transportation Agency also recommends public transportation that can go directly to the stadium.
“JakLingko 120 with the JIS-Muara Angke route; TransJakarta number 14A with the Harmoni – JIS route; and TransJakarta 12P with the Pegangsaan Dua LRT Station route – JIS,” explained Syafrin.
For information, the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held from 10 November 2023 to 2 December 2023. Apart from JIS, the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (Surabaya, East Java), Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung, Java West), and Manahan Stadium (Solo, Central Java).
