Most recently, Bank Mandiri strengthened cooperation with the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), to support the growth of the sports industry in the country.
Director of Institutional Relations at Bank Mandiri, Rohan Hafas, said that this collaboration aims to provide the best banking services for the National Sports Industry, which is spread throughout Indonesia.
“This service will be supported by an integrated digital transaction ecosystem, which simplifies and speeds up the transaction process with the presence of Super App Livin’ and Super Platform Kopra by Mandiri,” explained Rohan in a press release, Tuesday (20/2/2024).
He emphasized that this collaboration also proves Bank Mandiri’s commitment to being KONI’s strategic partner in managing finances and supporting the national sports industry. Through this partnership, Bank Mandiri will encourage the use of non-cash transactions in all KONI business units, spread throughout Indonesia.
Rohan added that Bank Mandiri will also provide banking services to KONI partners, such as QRIS, EDC, Livin Sukha, Livin Merchant, and also a financing collaboration with the Jaya Indonesia Sports Cooperative (KIOJI). In this collaboration, Bank Mandiri and KONI also launched a special KONI edition of e-money, which the public can buy via Livin’ easily.
“With this collaboration, we hope to increase the comfort and convenience for KONI in making payments. Both KONI athletes and coaches will be able to enjoy this service for their operational needs,” added Rohan.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Central KONI Marciano Norman expressed his appreciation for the support that Bank Mandiri has provided so far which is expected to also expand Indonesia’s financial inclusion, especially in the sports industry.
“We hope that this collaboration can have a positive impact on the development of the national sports industry, especially in terms of improving the welfare and performance of KONI athletes and coaches,” said Marciano.
For information, currently the average Mandiri e-Money transaction per month has reached more than 110 million transactions worth more than IDR 1.9 trillion. Moreover, Mandiri e-Money can also be used at more than 200 thousand partner merchants spread across Indonesia.
In addition, to make transactions easier for customers, Bank Mandiri also offers top up features and checking e-money balances via Livin’ by Mandiri. In the future, Bank Mandiri strives to continue to expand Mandiri e-money’s acceptance and ecosystem so that it can be enjoyed by the entire community.
