The BRInita program also introduces planting methods vertical gardens, providing a lot of training and assistance, so that residents can be more innovative in processing their harvests at Buruan Sae Padjajaran. The impact can also be felt by local residents. Residents in Padjajaran sub-district no longer have to buy kitchen spices, such as chilies, tomatoes and onions, because they can be harvested directly from Buruan Sae. Apart from that, residents can also enjoy harvests of fresh vegetables and fruit at any time without having to buy them.

It doesn’t stop there, residents are also actively processing the harvest at Buruan Sae Padjadjaran into various MSME products, such as Telang Flower and Pot Coffee products. Four types of products can be produced from butterfly pea flowers alone, including fresh drinks. Likewise with coffee products, the raw materials used are also coffee beans harvested from urban farming in Padjadjaran.

Apart from Fresh Telang Flower Drinks and Pot Coffee, MSMEs in Padjajaran Village now have a mainstay product, namely Red Ginger Wedang whose raw materials are also harvested from the garden. urban farming there.

“This herbal drink sells very well on the market, because many people are interested in it. In fact, by selling Red Ginger Wedang online, on line, there are quite a lot of buyers and they are consistent. In one production, we are able to make red ginger drink in 20-25 250ml bottles. “Considering that raw materials are limited, we sell them based on orders,” said member of the Padjajaran Lestari Women’s Group, Devi Setiawati.
