Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – BPJS Employment is a labor guarantee and social protection program for all workers in Indonesia. One of the programs in BPJS Employment is the Pension Guarantee (JP) program.

So, how do you claim the BPJS Employment Pension Guarantee?

Before submitting a JP BPJS Employment claim, participants must complete the required documents according to the provisions. Divorced Widow or Widower Dies

BPJS Employment JP claims for this category apply to widows or widowers who have been left behind by a husband or wife who has died. Meanwhile, the documents required are:
1. Completely filled out Form 7 (Form JP) BPJS Employment
2. JP BP JAMSOSTEK Program Participant Card
3. Original KTP and photocopy
4. Photocopy of Family Card
5. Photocopy of marriage certificate
6. Photocopy of death certificate from sub-district or village or health facility that has been legalized
7. Photocopy of heir certificate from the sub-district or village which has been legalized

Parent

Parents of participants who die can also submit a JP BPJS Employment claim belonging to their child by bringing the following required documents.
1. Completely filled out Form 7 (Form JP) BPJS Employment
2. JP BP JAMSOSTEK Program Participant Card
3. Original KTP and photocopy of parents
4. Photocopy of Family Card
5. Photocopy of death certificate from sub-district or village or health facility that has been legalized
6. Photocopy of heir certificate from the sub-district or village which has been legalized.

Death (Submitted by participant’s child)

Children of participants who have died can claim JP funds belonging to their deceased parents with the following conditions.
1. Completely filled out Form 7 (Form JP) BPJS Employment
2. JP BPJAMSOSTEK Program Participant Card
3. Photocopy of the child’s birth certificate or identity card
4. Photocopy of Family Card
5. Photocopy of death certificate from sub-district or village or health facility that has been legalized
6. Photocopy of heir certificate from the sub-district or village which has been legalized
7. Certificate of child’s guardian from an authorized official (especially for children under 18 years of age)
8. KTP of the child’s guardian (only for children under 18 years of age)

How to Claim BPJS Employment Pension Guarantee

After preparing and completing the required documents according to the provisions, participants can submit a JP claim at the BPJS Employment Office in the following way.
1. Fill out the form and complete the membership registration documents
2. Take the queue number for JP claims
3. Participants will be called by officers via the queue machine
4. Participants will be served by officers regarding submitting JP claims
5. The officer will provide a claim receipt
6. Participants assess satisfaction via e-survey
7. Participants receive JP balance in the participant’s account
