Gibran Called ‘Yellow’ by PDIP, Responds Firmly Like This News – 2 hours ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PDIP is again spreading insults at the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is now Prabowo Subianto’s vice presidential candidate. Prabowo is a rival of PDIP which is nominating Ganjar Pranowo as presidential candidate.

Gibran himself is actually a PDIP cadre. However, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said that Gibran had changed color to yellow from red. The indications are that Gibran has crossed over to the Golkar Party.

“If the color also changes from red to yellow then the party respects that,” said Hasto at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, last Friday as written on Tuesday (31/10/2023).

Quoting CNN Indonesia, Hasto has handed over the matter to the Chairman of the Solo PDIP DPC FX Hady Rudyatmo. Most recently, he said, Rudy had also conveyed the problem to PDIP Chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri.

“Yesterday Mr. Rudy Solo has reported this to Mrs. Ketum because Mas Gibran was given a KTA through DPC Solo and then Mas Gibran said goodbye to Mbak Puan,” he said.

“I’ve said goodbye, if you say goodbye, you know what it means,” he continued.

Responding to this, Gibran answered. Gibran firmly denied turning yellow, aka moving to the Golkar Party.

“Am I really yellow? No,” said Gibran at Solo City Hall, Central Java, Monday (30/10/2023).

Gibran admitted that he had answered a short message from the Chairman of the PDIP Solo Branch Leadership Council (DPC), FX Hadi Rudyatmo. He promised to immediately meet the former Mayor of Solo to discuss his membership status in PDIP.

“Later, I’ll look for a schedule so it doesn’t overlap,” said Gibran.
