Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – There are three pairs of presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates who will compete in next year’s political competition.

Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) are at number one. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka are in second place.

The pair Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan are in third place. Since November 28, the candidate pairs have entered the campaign period.


The three candidate pairs have started campaigning until February 10 2024. So, how is their electability so far? The following is a summary by CNBC Indonesia, Saturday (2/12/2023).

1. West Java TKN

In its latest update, the Prabowo-Gibran pair’s Regional Campaign (TKD) in West Java claimed the pair’s victory in this region. This was conveyed by the Head of West Java TKD Ridwan Kamil.

Quoting seconds, an internal survey showed Prabowo-Gibran’s high electability. Followed by Anies Baswedan-Cak Imin and Ganjar-Mahfud.

Prabowo-Gibran: 51.67%

Anies-Cak Imin: 25.96%

Ganjar-Mahfud: 11.76%

2.IRC Survey

The Idea Cipta Research & Consulting (ICRC) survey was taken on 12-16 November 2023 against 1,230 respondents. As a result, Prabowo-Gibran achieved top electability compared to Ganjar-Mahfud and Anies-Cak Imin.

Prabowo-Gibran: 37.3%

Reward -Mahfud: 33.5%

Anies-Cak Imin: 24.1%

3. LPI

LPI conducted a survey on 9-13 November 2023. The results were that Ganjar-Mahfud was in first place, followed by Prabowo-Gibran and Anies-Cak Imin.

Ganjar-Mahfud: 38.75%

Prabowo-Gibran: 34.25%

Anies-Muhaimin: 24%

Don’t know/don’t answer: 3%

4. LSI Denny JA

The Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) Dennya JA also conducted a survey 6-13 November 2023 with 1,200 respondents. Prabowo-Gibran’s vote is superior in that calculation.

Prabowo-Gibran: 40.3%

Ganjar-Mahfud: 28.6%

Anies-Muhaimin : 20.3%

Haven’t voted yet: 10.8%

5. LSN

LSN also conducted another survey from 5 to 12 November 2023 in 38 provinces throughout Indonesia. The population of this survey is all Indonesian citizens who are at least 17 years old or have an ID card, with 1,420 respondents using multistage random sampling techniques.

Prabowo-Gibran:42.1%

Ganjar-Mahfud: Md 28.8%

Anies-Cak Imin: 25.2%

Don’t Know/Didn’t Answer: 3.9%

6. SPIN

The survey itself was conducted November 1-10 involving 2,178 respondents in 38 provinces. According to detik, the survey’s margin of error was +/- 2.1% and the survey’s confidence level was recorded at 95%.

It was stated how Prabowo-Gibran Rakabuming were still superior. Meanwhile, Ganjar-Mahfud and Anies-Cak Imin are below him.

Prabowo-Gibran: 43%

Ganjar-Mahfud: 26.1%

Anies-Cak Imin: 22.7%

Don’t know and didn’t answer: 6.2%

7. IPO Survey

The Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) survey was taken on 10-17 November 2023. There were two surveys carried out by the presidential candidates alone and together with the vice president.

Only presidential candidates:

Prabowo Subianto : 37.5%

Anies Baswedan : 32.7%

Reward Pranowo : 28.3%

With the vice presidential candidate

Prabowo-Gibran: 36.2%

Anies-Cak Imin: 34.1%

Ganjar-Mahfud: 27.1%

8. PWS

The Political Weather Station (PWS) shows that Prabowo’s electability is above Ganjar and Antes. The survey was conducted on 1-8 November 2023 involving 1,220 respondents.

Prabowo-Gibran: 52.1%

Ganjar-Mahfud: 41.5%

Anies-Cak Imin: 22.4%

Don’t know: 3.1%

9. Poltracking

A special presidential election survey in DKI Jakarta and Banten was also carried out by Poltracking from 28 October to 1 November. This survey involved 1,220 respondents using a multistage random sampling method.

Prabowo-Gibran dominated the vote. Meanwhile Anies-Cak Imin and Ganjar-Mahfud are behind.

Prabowo-Gibran: 46.0%

Anies-Cak Imin: 34.0%

Ganjar-Mahfud: 19.0%
