Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – An Israeli soldier celebrated his daughter’s 2nd birthday by blowing up a house in Gaza, Palestine. This can be seen in one of the videos that went viral on social media.

“I dedicate this explosion to my daughter ‘Princess Ayala’ for her second birthday today,” the soldier said in Hebrew, in a 43-second video that is undated and unverified, but has been shared and downloaded thousands of times by internet users.

Various media in Arabic and English reported that the soldiers had obtained permission from the Israeli army before blowing up a Palestinian family’s house.

“I missed you,” the soldier said to his daughter.

In the video, several Israeli soldiers are seen surrounding the unnamed soldier while giving instructions to blow up the building. More than four Israeli soldiers were seen surrounding the kneeling soldier, holding up a walkie talkie phone and saying, “This is the receiving station in 10 seconds,” he said.

All the soldiers started counting down in Hebrew and when they reached zero, a loud explosion was heard.

The recording received strong criticism from a number of parties. One X user said, “While the pathetic and shameless world watches helplessly! Criminals!”

Several other X users also criticized the recording and said that “Israel is a terrorist country.”
