Israeli International Surrounds Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, Hundreds of People Confined! News – 1 hour ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Israel is increasingly intensifying its ground operations in North Gaza. This time, the Zionist State troops have surrounded and attacked the Indonesian Hospital (RS) in the Gaza Strip since Sunday (11/19/2023).

The Gaza Ministry of Health on Monday (20/11/2023) said Israeli snipers targeted those moving in or around the hospital. As a result, as many as 12 people died, dozens of people were injured, and hundreds of other residents were surrounded in the hospital.

“The lives of thousands of patients, medical personnel and refugees are at risk of death due to the direct and repeated bombing of Indonesian Hospitals,” the ministry said in a statement, as quoted by Anadolu Agency (AA).

The official Palestinian news agency, Wafa, previously reported that eight people were killed in Israeli artillery shelling of the hospital. According to data, there are 150 patients, 100 medical staff and thousands of refugees in the facility.

Witnesses said Israeli shelling caused the hospital to lose power after its generator stopped working.

Israel has targeted other hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including by besieging Al-Shifa hospital for more than a week. More than 30 premature babies were evacuated from Al-Shifa on Sunday.

Since Israel began bombarding Gaza on October 7, 2023 following Hamas attacks, at least 13,000 Palestinians have been killed, including more than 9,000 women and children, and more than 30,000 others injured.

Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques and churches, have also been damaged or destroyed by Israel’s relentless air and ground attacks on the besieged enclave.

The Israeli blockade has also cut off fuel, electricity and water supplies to Gaza, and reduced aid supplies to little. Meanwhile, according to official figures, the death toll in Israel is around 1,200 people.
