Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Magician Pak Tarno talks about his experience of often being deceived in business matters and purchasing assets. As a result, Pak Tarno himself became afraid of lending money.
Not long ago, Mr Tarno told the story of how his manager cheated him when he wanted to buy a car.
“Mr. Want to buy a car, here’s the money, I’ll pay you later,” said Pak Tarno at the Rumpi: No Secret studio, Transmedia, South Jakarta, yesterday while imitating the manager’s words at the time, as quoted by detik.com.
After paying Rp. 100 million as a token of purchase to his manager, the manager immediately disappeared.
Regarding business matters, Mr Tarno admitted that he had also been conned under the pretext of asking for capital. At that time he was asked to help provide capital for internet cafes and coffee shops.
“Many (cheated). There are internet cafes, coffee shops, I want to capitalize on people. Internet cafes just capitalize, I’m really stupid when people ask for capital, I should get capital (profit). I can’t get anything from this. “After a long time (the person) called in trouble, he said his cellphone was broken, I bought him a cellphone, it turned out to be a lie,” explained Pak Tarno.
In fact, the money he lost was the result of Pak Tarno’s sweat in the world of entertainment.
Learning from Pak Tarno’s case, trusting someone’s promises too easily in financial matters can have fatal consequences in the future if we are not careful.
In the case of purchasing assets, the down payment or receipt should be paid directly to the seller rather than an intermediary. The buyer must also check the assets directly and ensure that the name listed on the asset certificate is the same as the name on the account provided.
Meanwhile, in business matters, it is very important for someone to understand how the borrower can return our funds. And if it is a business, you are entitled to compensation from the refund.
