Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has just released Indonesian employment data as of August 2023. This data also displays the average wages of workers/employees/employees.

In a document quoted by CNBC Indonesia, Monday (6/11/2023), the average wage for workers, based on the results of Sakernas August 2023, is IDR 3.18 million.

This amount is divided into the wages of male workers amounting to IDR 3.47 million and the wages of female workers amounting to IDR 2.64 million.

Meanwhile, workers in the Information and Communication category received the highest wages at IDR 5.13 million, while workers in the Other Services category received the lowest wages at IDR 1.87 million.

Workers working in ten of the seventeen main employment categories receive wages higher than the national average wage. Here are the details:
