Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – As an investment instrument that is suitable for beginners, Government Securities (SBN) is certainly an instrument that must be looked at. And know that throughout 2024, there will be seven SBN that will be launched.

“This year we plan to issue three Retail Government Debt Securities (Retail SUN), namely the ORI series, one SBR series, then four sharia ones, Retail Sukuk plus Savings Sukuk plus one Waqaf Sukuk,” said the Director of SUN, Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management. Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (DJPPR Kemenkeu RI), on the sidelines of the SinemORI XXV event which was held at Metropole XXI (15/2/2024).

DJPPR RI’s event to watch the film Gampang Cuan together was also aimed at introducing the ORI025 instrument to the public.

ORI025 itself is a Retail SUN which will be offered to the public in early 2024. As is known, ORI025 comes in two investment tenor and coupon level options, ORI025-T3 with a three year tenor with a coupon of 6.25% per year, and ORI025-T6 with a tenor 6 years with a coupon of 6.4% per year.

The final offering period for this debt-based investment instrument is February 29 2024.

“(Those who have ordered and paid for ORI025), as of today (15/2) around IDR 10.87 trillion,” continued Deni.

Deni added that orders for Retail SUN tend to be slower than last year due to the long Isra Mi’raj and Chinese New Year holidays, as well as the election. And so far, the participation of Generation Z investors seems to be getting bigger, but the number of millennial investors is still the largest.

As is known from total orders as of February 15 2024, the number of investors who have ordered ORI025 T3 reached 28,949 while ORI25 T6 was 8,422.
