Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman firmly asked his staff to no longer ‘play around’ within the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), carry out their duties and uphold office ethics.
“I emphasize, don’t play around. As per my oath, in carrying out my duties and position, I must uphold the ethics of office, and carry out the laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of the dharma of serving the nation and state. Period! I’m telling you, that’s not allowed. If “I got (the one playing around), he finished,” stressed Amran when met by media crew after a leadership meeting with echelon I ranks at the Ministry of Agriculture, Jakarta, Thursday (26/10/2023).
Meanwhile, when asked about monitoring the distribution of subsidized fertilizer which is prone to fraud, Amran said he would not hesitate to take firm action against these individuals with the heaviest sanctions.
“Usually, if someone disturbed my time, they usually moved from the earth room to a detention cell. Never mind, God willing, I wouldn’t dare do anything wrong, because if I get it “That will definitely be a serious sanction for anyone. If we play with the needs of the small people, we will definitely take firm action with the police,” he stressed.
Furthermore, Amran said that when he worked, he was someone who was very detailed. When asked about the results of today’s leadership meeting (Rapim), he said he would still detail it first. Amran promised to convey the results of the meeting to the public tomorrow, Friday (27/10/2023).
“I’ll look at it tomorrow, it’s still neat. I want details first, because when I work it has to be detailed down to the bottom. Today I asked for details of all the programs, rice production, corn production, agricultural machinery (alsintan), “Then increase the planting index, and prepare seeds for those who have irrigation water now, we will prepare seeds for those who have water, try to see how much stock is available,” he said.
