Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Several Advanced Indonesian Cabinet Ministers submitted leave requests to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to take part in the Prabowo – Gibran Candidate Pair (Paslon) registration activities at the KPU, Wednesday (25/10/2023).

There are at least 4 Ministers in Jokowi’s Cabinet who have requested leave, including Prabowo Subianto who serves as Minister of Defense. As well as 2 Deputy Ministers who applied for leave.

Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana said Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni had applied for leave today.

“The letter contains a request for one day’s leave to take part in the registration of Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates with the KPU today, Wednesday, October 25 2023,” wrote Ari in a statement, Wednesday (25/10/2023).

Apart from that, there was also a request for leave from the Minister of Communication and Information, Budi Arie Setiadi, as well as the Deputy Minister of Trade, Jerry Sambuaga.

“The leave request letter was also submitted by the Minister of Communication and Information and the Deputy Minister of Trade,” said Ari.

It is known that Airlangga, Zulhas and Raja Juli are high-ranking political parties supporting the Advanced Indonesia Coalition which supports the Prabowo – Gibran pair.

Meanwhile, Budi Arie is the Chair of the Pro Jokowi Volunteer Group, and Jerry Sambuaga is a cadre of the Golkar party.
