Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) launched the EmpowerHer program to empower women and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. It is hoped that this empowerment program will be able to do so supporting economic growth through special training for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) managed by women.

Rukun Raharja Director Sumantri Suwarno said the company is committed to advancing society and the environment. One of them is support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owned by women.

“Women MSMEs have an important role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) and improve the overall economy. “By launching this training program, we hope to help them overcome various challenges in running their business, as well as provide opportunities to develop and become partners for our company,” said Sumantri in a written statement, Thursday (2/10/2023).

EmpowerHer is part of RAJA’s long-term commitment to supporting sustainable development, including improving the economy of surrounding communities. By providing training and mentoring to female MSMEs, the Company hopes to create sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.

This program covers various aspects of business, including management, digital marketing, finance and sustainability.

“The company believes that through providing this training, women will have greater opportunities to develop their businesses, increase their income, and overall contribute to local economic development,” emphasized Sumantri.

It is known that the first training program has been implemented with a total of 100 female MSME participants from various business fields. This program will be implemented periodically in several cities in the Company’s operational areas and will open up opportunities for many women to develop their business potential.

“Furthermore, in 2024 the company is expected to have permanent MSME partners, who will receive full support from the Company,” he concluded.
