Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Handsome actor, Song Joong-ki recently revealed about his career journey. The 38 year old man also opened up about his criteria for choosing projects.

He has a dream of being able to explore other cultures by participating in several auditions. Unfortunately, these efforts have not produced the expected results.

Even though he already has a big name in the world of South Korean acting, Song Joong-ki admits that he often experiences rejection when auditioning abroad. Even so, he didn’t want to give up.

“I personally try not to do what I have done before,” said Song Joong Ki, as quoted from AllKpopTuesday (17/10/2023).

“If I wasn’t enjoying my acting myself, it would be obvious… I’m not trying to be modest, it’s just that I really can’t fake it, and my performance definitely suffers.”

Song Joong-ki himself has just finished filming a film Hopeless. After finalizing the film’s release schedule, he plans to go abroad to audition for several projects.

“I always get rejected, so I hope I can succeed this time,” he continued.

When asked about his aspirations as an actor, Song Joong-ki revealed that he wants to achieve success in his country. Apart from that, he also wants to broaden his horizons about acting.

Film Hopeless tells the story of a boy who wants to escape from harsh reality and ends up joining a dangerous world after meeting the boss of a forbidden organization.
