Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Apple’s newest cellphone, the iPhone 15 series, has a long waiting time before it reaches consumers’ hands. Moreover, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have waiting times of up to months.

But a TikTok user suddenly got lucky by getting 60 units of the iPhone 15 Pro Max from Apple.

TikToker with the account @legends_gio ordered several iPhone 15 Pro Max for his work needs.

He ordered a 1TB iPhone 15 Pro Max for himself and three 256GB variants for his team. When the package arrived, he received his iPhone fine, but there were “surprises” with the other three phones.

Instead of getting three iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB as ordered, he instead received three large boxes which when opened turned out to contain 20 iPhone boxes inside.

So in total, @legends_gio received 60 units of iPhone 15 Pro Max, all of which are the highest variant with the 1TB variant.

One iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB unit is sold for US$ 1,599 or around Rp. 25 million. If the TikToker receives three boxes of iPhone 15 Pro Max, the total value he will get is around US$ 96,000 or Rp. 1.5 billion.

Even though this was a mistake on Apple’s part, he could not sell or give away any more of the 60 iPhone units he received. Because Apple can remotely lock an iPhone that it obtained illegally so that it cannot be used.

@legends_gio’s TikTok video about a stray iPhone has been watched more than 14 million times and received 1.6 million likes. Even though the video was only uploaded about 2 days ago.

Netizens also flooded the video’s comments column. Some asked if he was reselling it, or would be holding a giveaway of the iPhone 15 for free. Some said, “If I were you, I wouldn’t make this video. I’d just keep quiet and keep everything to myself.”
