Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) PPP Sandiaga Uno is not sure that the 2024 election will run in 1 round. This follows the survey data that the party has conducted.

According to Sandi, the data he has shows that the competition for presidential and vice presidential candidates is getting tighter. Especially for the top two candidates.

“We can predict that, with the situation of around 20% who have not yet made a choice, we realistically look very open to the second round in this presidential election,” said Sandi, Sunday (12/11/2023).

Quoting detik.com, apart from that, he also believes that each presidential election participant will have their own internal survey. The survey, he said, would not be distributed widely because it was a definitive picture.

“Yes, if it’s an internal survey, I’m sure, all the contestants have surveys that they will never publish and that is the real picture,” he said.

Anies and Gibran are confident that the presidential election will run in 1 round

Previously, Anies believed that his duet with Cak Imin would win the 2024 presidential election in one round. He believes it can be done.

“Mr. Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar. One round? God willing,” said Anies when greeting Cak Imin at the Technical Guidance event for legislative members from the NasDem Fraction throughout Indonesia at the Grand Paragon Hotel, West Jakarta, Sunday (12/11).

Anies then talked about his vision and mission which were different from those of other prospective candidates. He said AMIN had a territorial-based vision and mission.

“Well, there is something that differentiates you ladies and gentlemen from our vision and mission from others, what is it?” said Anies.

“We don’t just talk about sectors, we talk about territories, regions. We often do that, when we talk about change, we will show the mission,” added Anies.

Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, is confident that he will win outright in one round. Gibran expressed this during the consolidation in Lampung, Saturday (11/11/2023).

“Ladies and gentlemen, this battle is very short, but I’m sure with the enthusiasm of all of you, I’m sure we can win one round,” he said.

Quoting detik.com, he wants the ranks of the coalition parties to also have the same belief so that the mission of winning the 2024 presidential election in one round can be realized.

He also did not ignore the results of surveys conducted by a number of institutions. According to him, the survey results should also be paid attention to by the supporting parties.

If electability is superior to other candidate pairs, Gibran also asked the coalition parties not to be complacent and keep working hard.

“If the survey is good, we have to work hard too,” said Gibran.
