Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Presidential Candidate (Capres) and Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres) Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar boarded a Land Rover with plate B 8165 HH to register with the General Election Commission (KPU) on Thursday (19/10/23).
The couple, who identified themselves as AMIN, also waved to the supporters who accompanied them. Apparently, this car had forgotten to pay tax. NasDem General Treasurer Ahmad Sahroni also admitted this.
“So it was a matter of forgetting to pay tax, that’s true, but I immediately ordered my staff to pay the tax immediately, based on the evidence above,” said Ahmad Sahroni, quoted on Friday (20/10/2023).
Based on DKI Jakarta Samsat data, currently the Tax Period is still in effect. The basic motor vehicle tax (PKB) is IDR 656,300 and the mandatory contribution to the traffic accident fund (SWDKLLJ) is IDR 143,000. So the total is IDR 799,300. Now the STNK Validity Period and Tax Due Date are 08-10-2024.

However, Sahroni rejected the notion that the vehicle tax was paid after it went viral on social media.
“Before (it went viral), we paid at 10.42 WIB. We were still at the KPU. We recorded the payment time,” said Sahroni.
The model of this car is JEEP LCHDTP with the year of manufacture in 1967. The type is LONG 2.5 T. The fuel is petrol with an engine capacity of 2200 CC. The color of the vehicle without modification is Blue.
“It’s basically blue. That’s striker laminating branding,” said Sahroni.
