VoLTE Reaches All of RI, Check Cellphones That Can Use Tech – 50 minutes ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Telkomsel’s Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) service now reaches all regions of Indonesia.

This VoLTE service can enable customers to access the internet, stream video, and even play games, along with making telephone or video calls.

The expansion of VoLTE service coverage is supported by the completion of the process of upgrading/transferring (upgrading) Telkomsel’s 3G to 4G/LTE network in 2023.

“VoLTE services allow customers to make and receive telephone calls while using data at the same time on the 4G network. This effort is clear proof of Telkomsel’s commitment to providing convenience and comfort, while improving customers’ digital experience,” said Vice President Prepaid Consumer Marketing Telkomsel Tuty Rahma Afriza .

With the wider reach of VoLTE services, Telkomsel recorded an increase in the number of customers using VoLTE services by 133.3 percent year-on-year.

The state-owned cellular operator also recorded a growth in the number of devices that support VoLTE of 6.1 percent year-on-year.

VoLTE services can be enjoyed by customers who have used a 4G uSIM, use a smartphone that supports the VoLTE feature with the latest operating system (OS), and have activated the VoLTE profile.

So far, Telkomsel VoLTE services can be used on 347 types of smartphones from various brands, starting from Advan, Apple, Evercross, Huawei, Infinix, Iqoo, Luna, Oppo, Realme, Samsung, Sharp, Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE.
