Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A number of Indonesian celebrities are fighting to win the highest number of votes for legislative candidates (candidates) in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). These celebrities are Ahmad Dhani, Aldi Taher, Once Mekel, Uya Kuya, and Verrel Bramasta.

It is known that Ahmad Dhani is running as a candidate for member of the DPR RI from the electoral district (dapil) East Java 1, Aldi Taher and Verrel Bramasta as candidates for members of the DPR RI from the electoral district of West Java VII, and Once Mekel and Uya Kuya as candidates for members of the DPR RI from the electoral district of DKI Jakarta II.

1. Ahmad Dhani

The musician and frontman of the band Dewa 19, whose real name is Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo, is a candidate for member of the DPR RI who is supported by the Gerindra Party in the East Java I electoral district.

Based on the results real count The temporary KPU, Ahmad Dhani, was in second place as the Gerindra legislative candidate with the most votes, namely 11,975. Meanwhile, Gerindra led the DPR RI legislative vote count results in the East Java I electoral district with a total of 44,231 votes or 19.4 percent.

To date, the total number of votes collected by the KPU in the East Java I electoral district is 7.22 percent or 992 from 13,733 Polling Places (TPS).

2. Aldi Taher

This Indonesian actor, comedian and singer is a candidate for member of the DPR RI supported by the Perindo Party in the West Java electoral district VII. It is known that Aldi Taher attracted attention online after covering the song “Yellow” by Coldplay.

Based on the results real count Provisional KPU, Aldi Taher won 4,648 votes, aka the lowest vote from the Perindo Party. Meanwhile, Perindo received quite low votes in the DPR RI legislative vote count results with a total of 5,162 votes or 2.16 percent.

3. Once Mekel

The singer and frontman of Dewa 19 is a candidate for member of the DPR RI supported by the PDI Perjuangan in the DKI Jakarta II electoral district.

Based on the results real count The temporary KPU, Once was in second place as the PDI Perjuangan legislative candidate with the most votes, namely winning 7,267 votes. Meanwhile, PDI Perjuangan won 42,792 votes or 11.88 percent.

To date, the total number of votes collected by the KPU in the DKI Jakarta II electoral district is 9.22 percent or 908 out of 9,844 polling stations.

4. Uya Kuya

Similar to Once, Uya Kuya from the National Mandate Party (PAN) is also contesting in the DKI Jakarta II electoral district. Based on the preliminary calculation results, Uya Kuya became the DPR RI legislative candidate from PAN who received the most votes, namely 9,004.

Meanwhile, the supporting party only received 5.7 percent or 20,541 votes.

5. Verrel Bramasta

Homeland actor, Verrel Bramasta is a candidate for DPR RI members supported by PAN in the West Java VII electoral district which covers Bekasi, Karawang and Purwakarta regencies.
