Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Whoosh Fast Train again broke the record for the number of daily passengers where yesterday, Sunday 12 November, passengers served reached 21,312 passengers. This number was achieved through the operation of 36 itineraries with details of 28 regular trips and 8 additional trips.

This is the highest transportation performance achievement during the Whoosh Fast Train’s operation. Previously, the highest passenger volume occurred on November 11 with 20 thousand passengers and November 4 with 18 thousand passengers.

“We see that the public’s enthusiasm is high because they want to experience the experience of using Jakarta-Bandung transportation in just 40 minutes at speeds of up to 350 kmh,” said KCIC Corporate Communication Manager Emir Monti to CNBC Indonesia, Monday (13/11/2023).

He said that the time efficiency offered was one of the main attractions for the community, apart from the availability of very comfortable facilities at the stations and trains. As a result, many people use it for various activities.

“Many use the Whoosh Fast Train for travel, work, business or other matters,” said Emir.

Compared to last week, there was an increase in the number of passengers on the Whoosh fast train by 18% or 3,259 passengers. In terms of the number of trips, there was an increase in the number of trips by 12% from 32 trips on November 4 to 36 trips on November 11 and 12.

“The increase in the number of passengers is in line with the increase in the number of trips on weekends. The Whoosh Fast Train is now one of the people’s preferred modes of transportation for traveling from Jakarta to Bandung and vice versa,” said KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa in her statement, Sunday (12 /11/2023).
